For those living or visiting Longwood, Lake Mary, Sanford and Altamonte Springs, this may turn out to be a great new gay bar and being that there is a hospital nearby you might just run into some hot nurses too. Type of Bar: It's to early to tell what type of bar this will be, but it is trying to be upscale with an Ultra Lounge moniker. The Grand Opening is May 26th at 10 pm and includes No Cover, Sassy Devine, Drink Specials and Dancers. When we learn about the weekly schedule we will post it. |

First know that P-house (local reference) is a hotel, dance club, restaurant, theater, pool, bear bar, beach and outdoor stage complex. Type of Bar: Pulse attracts gay men, lesbians, straight couples and bachelorette parties on the weekends. It really is a diverse group, however the bar is most popular with the 20 - 30 something men. Pulse also has male dancers that strut their stuff very well and on sometimes a female dancer for the ladies. Pulse has 3 areas and recently combined the White Room & Dance Room to create the Grand Room as I call it. The bright white is gone and the original bar too. Now it's an open space that works well. Plus they have a nice outdoor patio area where you can relax or smoke if needed. The Dark Room where the male dancers strut their stuff and drag shows are performed. New - Pulse Happy Hour! Weekdays from 4 - 9 pm. Other nights the doors open at 9 pm and the crowd tends to roll in around 10:30.
